The project concerns the urban redevelopment of a degraded area located in the peripheral coastal area of the city of Siracusa, where over the years, following the private construction of residential complexes, an urban void has been left devoid of functional characteristics for public use and today vandalized.
The design idea comes to life from the flight of a seagull, whose wings rest on the ground creating shaded areas, marking spaces and functions.
Then there is a multipurpose play area, a green area equipped for play and a parking area to compensate the lack of the existing spaces available near residential complexes.
Wood, stone, earth and vegetation no other material is used for its realization, nature does not need anything else to find its own spaces.
